Ryan Oakley

Ryan Oakley is an accomplished ecology professional with extensive experience in various roles related to aquatic ecology and biodiversity. Currently serving as the Technical Director and Specialist Discipline Lead for Ecology at Stantec since September 2017, Ryan leads ecological initiatives in Stantec UK from the South East. Prior to this role, Ryan held positions such as Principal Aquatic Ecologist at Southern Water and Senior Ecologist at MWH, which is now part of Stantec. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Ecologist at AMEC, Aquatic Ecology Lecturer at Guildford College Group, Biodiversity Officer at the Environment Agency, and Ecologist at ADAS. Ryan's academic credentials include an MSc in Biodiversity Surveying from Nottingham Trent University and a BSc in Ecology from the University of Wolverhampton.
