Ellen Leabeater

Ellen Leabeater is an experienced audio producer and journalist with a diverse background in audio documentary production and podcasting. Currently serving as the Executive Producer for Audio Documentaries at Southern Cross Austereo, Ellen previously held the role of Supervising Audio Producer at Guardian Australia, overseeing the flagship daily news podcast, Full Story, and producing the significant series Ben Roberts Smith v the Media in 2022. Ellen's career also includes positions at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as an Audio Producer for ABC True Crime, freelance work for Heaps Good Media, and various roles in community radio. Ellen's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney.
