Georgina Oates

Georgina Oates has extensive work experience in the media and marketing industry. Georgina started their career as an Account Coordinator at Regional Mediaworks in 2008 and then worked as a Volunteer Recruitment and PR Officer at VICSES from 2004 to 2008. In 2006, they also held a Marketing Assistant position at Parks Victoria as part of their integrated learning program. Georgina later joined Maxus and Maxus Global as a Business Manager and Account Director, respectively, managing various clients and accounts for six years. In 2017, they joined Mindshare as a Segment Lead before moving to Southern Cross Austereo, where they held roles as Senior Marketing Manager, Senior Media Manager, Media Director, and currently as Head of Media.

Georgina Oates completed their education at various institutions. Georgina obtained a Bachelor of Business - Marketing degree from Victoria University in 2007. Additionally, in 2009, they attended CAE to pursue courses in Adobe Creative Suite: Introduction (MAC) and Web Standard: Introduction. Georgina also completed a Media Liaison Officer Course at VICSES in 2008. Georgina received their Year 12 certification in subjects such as Legal Studies, Business Management, Biology, Photography, and English from Wanganui Park Secondary College between 1986 and 2003. Furthermore, they completed additional certifications, including a Behavioral Economics & Psychology in Marketing course from MINDWORX Academy in 2023.
