Kate Sheldon

Kate Sheldon has 20 years of experience in the environment sector, developing programs, forging new partnerships, and fundraising through grants and public sector contracts. Her current role is Deputy Chief Executive at Trees for Cities, a national charity that engages people to improve their local environment through planting and caring for trees.

Kate is passionate about the role that nature can play to support the health and well-being of children and young people. Over the last decade, she has developed award-winning school programmes that tackle current health concerns: child obesity, air quality and mental health of children and young people, which has become critical during Covid.

Kate has lived in Enfield for 17 years and has three children in years 9, 11 and 13 at Southgate School.
