Mili Malde is a Product Manager at the Department for Education leading multidisciplinary, agile teams to solve problems confronting the education sector, with a particular focus on teacher recruitment and retention.
Mili graduated from Wadham College, Oxford with BA in Classics in 2017. Since then she has worked in primarily digital and technology transformation roles across government and in the third sector. These ranged from being a user researcher on a digital service for diplomats at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, designing features and improvements on one of the largest-scale, ambitious welfare reform programs at the Department for Work and Pensions, and leading the Architecture and Innovation Strategy at the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Her most recent role was Product Manager at an educational social enterprise, where Mili developed the enterprise's digital capabilities to enable it to scale its program of support and laid the foundations for future growth.
