Peter Vicars

Peter Vicars serves as the CEO of Ras Labs, Inc. since November 2018, leading the development of innovative electroactive polymers that enhance robotic touch capabilities. In addition to this role, Vicars is a Business Mentor at Southie Autonomy and the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, focusing on collaborative robotics and the Mentor Smart Program, respectively. As a Partner at Kempson Partners since 1998, Vicars specializes in business development for early-stage technology companies, particularly in new energy technologies related to water use and demand management. Previous leadership experience includes serving as CEO of VGo Communications Inc. and Heavy Lift Systems, and holding positions on the Board of Directors for Symphony Nova and Rivulet Communications. Vicars was also recognized as a Fellow by the New England Clean Energy Council in 2009.
