Douglas K. has extensive experience in finance and operations, holding various executive roles throughout their career. Douglas started their career in 2001 as the Director of Accounting Operations at Verestar before joining JPMorgan Chase in 2004 as an Assistant Global Controller. Douglas then moved to Dynex Technologies, Inc. in 2007, where they held multiple roles, including Vice President Administration and Finance, Vice President Operations and Supply Chain, Director of Operations, CFO, and Vice President Finance. In 2021, they joined Mistral Group as the Chief Financial Officer and later moved to Southland Concrete Corporation in 2023 as the Vice President of Finance.
Douglas K. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University from 1989 to 1992. Douglas also holds additional certifications, including Certified Public Accountant (obtained in 2004), Certified Management Accountant (obtained in 1994), and IFARS Certification from AICPA.

Southland Concrete continually performs work for the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area’s many General Contractors in both the Private and Public sectors. We perform cast-in-place concrete work for Steel Frame office buildings, Tilt Up Construction, Data Centers, Warehouses, Shopping Centers, and Post Tension Structures, as well as foundations for Precast Parking structures. Typical projects consist of new construction, renovations and additions with work predominately concentrated in a 50 to 75 mile radius of our office to points in Virginia, Maryland, The District of Columbia and West Virginia.
