Jessie Mai has a diverse work experience. In 2010, they started as a Peer Mentor at Mt. San Jacinto College until 2012. Following this, in 2012, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Viva Travel and Tours until 2014. From 2014 onwards, they became a Mental Health Caseworker at the Vietnamese Community of Orange County (VNCOC).
From 2012 to 2014, Jessie Mai attended the College of Health and Human Services at California State University-Long Beach. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration, specializing in the field of Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
