Gary Lovewell

Gary Lovewell currently serves as President of the Arizona Mechanical Contractors Association since July 2022. Gary has extensive experience with Southland Industries, holding various key positions including Vice President, Project Executive, Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager since June 2004. Notable projects managed include parking garages, a hotel tower, a retail center, a casino expansion, office and meeting spaces, and laboratory research facilities. From January 2020 to July 2022, Gary acted as Director and Secretary for the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association of Southern Nevada. Additionally, Gary served as Director, Secretary, and Vice President for the Mechanical Contractors Association of Las Vegas from March 2019 to July 2022, and has been involved with the Local 525 Health and Welfare trust and the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. An intern at Southland Industries in 2003, Gary completed a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2004 and underwent leadership training with Southland Industries in 2014.
