Shannon Dacus

Ms. Dacus is President and owner of the Dacus Firm in Tyler, Texas and has been a licensed and practicing attorney since 1994, with a focus on business litigation. She currently serves as chair of the Board of Directors for the Smith County Bar Foundation and chair-elect of the Board of Trustees for the Texas Bar Foundation. She previously served as chair of the Board of Directors for the Tyler Economic Development Council, the East Texas Communities Foundation, the Women's Fund and Leadership Tyler. She also served on the board of an East Texas bank for over 4 years, where she served as a member of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Risk and Compliance Committee. She has received numerous honors including Professional of the Year from the Hispanic Business Alliance and the Award of Excellence from the Smith County Bar Association.
