Dr. Akeila Banks

Dr. Akeila Banks, PT, DPT, has extensive experience in physical therapy, having worked as a School-Based Physical Therapist for Southside ISD since October 2015 and previously for Judson ISD from August 2014 to July 2015. Dr. Banks served as a Supervising Physical Therapist at Nova Medical Centers from September 2013 to August 2014, where responsibilities included overseeing daily clinic operations and coordinating patient care with the support of a physical therapy aide. Earlier professional roles include positions at Incite Rehab and Physical Therapy of Dyersburg, with a focus on skilled nursing and outpatient services. Academically, Dr. Banks earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Arkansas State University.
