Annie Griffin

Annie Griffin is currently working as a Collateral Analyst at SouthStar Capital. Prior to their current position, they worked as a District Manager and Store Manager at Copper Penny. Annie has been in the customer service and sales industry for over 10 years.

Annie Griffin started their career in customer service and sales 10 years ago when they were hired as a Store Manager at Copper Penny. As Store Manager, Annie was responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating all sales associates. Annie managed a team of 7 sales associates and fostered their development by providing new sales tools and techniques. Annie also contributed daily to a positive and profitable business environment by managing and motivating sales teams to increase sales and excel at customer service. In addition to these duties, Annie was also responsible for daily store operations including pulling sales and inventory reports for upper management, processing inventory shipments, addressing client inquiries, payroll, and recording daily deposits. Annie successfully established and implemented policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for the store.

In June 2014, Annie was promoted to District Manager at Copper Penny. As District Manager, Annie was responsible for recruiting, hiring and developing a team of 7 Store Managers and over 30 associates. Annie ensured company selling and customer service standards were upheld across all stores through effective training and coaching. Annie provided selling techniques and motivation to sales team to improve store standards and increase sales. Annie also directed and trained mangers to implement and maintain the highest level of presentation and visual standards. Annie attended Apparel Market to select merchandise for 7 stores.

After 6 years with Copper Penny, Annie left the company in March 2020 to pursue a new opportunity as a Collateral Analyst at SouthStar Capital.

Annie Griffin's educational career began with their earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Salisbury University - Perdue School of Business. Annie continued their education at Severn School.

Annie Griffin works with Jon Lunn - Collection Manager, April Plair - Director of Marketing, and Wesley Basham - Assistant VP. Their manager is Bernard Linney, President.
