Brian Cate

Brian Cate has over 15 years of experience in the import/export industry. Brian is currently the Assistant VP at SouthStar Capital, where they manage all aspects of the company's operations. Brian has also served as the President/CEO of SWI 3R, Inc., where they founded the company in 2002 and grew it from importing a few containers per year to exporting over 100 containers per year.

In their previous position as Business Development Manager at B Dean Graphics, Brian developed new markets and clients for a wide range of print and digital graphics, including logos, websites, and marketing materials for print, web, and mobile distribution. Brian has also worked with small to medium sized businesses and marketing agencies to develop their branding and marketing communications.

Brian is a skilled negotiator and account manager, with a proven track record of developing new business relationships and increasing customer retention. Brian is also experienced in managing budgets and planning for long-term growth.

Brian Cate has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Commercial Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. Brian also has a World Trade Certificate in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Trident Technical College. Brian Cate has an AAS in Engineering Technology from NHTI, Concord's Community College.

Brian Cate reports to Bernard Linney, President. They work with Jon Lunn - Collection Manager, Patricia Chambers - Broker Program Coordinator, and Todd Culbreth - Regional Vice President.
