Geoff Crane has a diverse range of work experience. Geoff began their career as an intern at the Cato Institute in 2004 and continued to gain experience through internships at James G. Davis Construction, Ares Management Corporation, and CME Group in the following years. In 2006 and 2007, they worked as an intern at Ares Management Corporation again. Geoff then joined Susquehanna International Group, LLP in 2009, where they held various roles in fixed income operations and institutional equity research sales until 2018. Since 2018, they have been working as the Vice President of Capital Markets at SouthState Correspondent Division.
Geoff Crane received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Investment Management from The University of Alabama, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Geoff also pursued a Minor in Computing Technology and Applications at The University of Alabama. Furthermore, Geoff obtained certifications such as the Series 52 - Municipal Securities Representative Examination from the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board in 2018, the Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2016, and the Series 7 - General Securities Representative Examination from FINRA in 2014.
