Drew Purcell

Drew Purcell, GSLC, currently serves as the Director of Cybersecurity Operations at SouthState Bank since June 2019, having previously held roles such as Cybersecurity Operations Manager, Cyber Security Team Lead, and Identity and Access Management Engineer within the same organization. Prior experience includes positions at South State Bank as a Support Tech and at Park Sterling Bank as a Network Engineer and Network Admin. Drew's career began at Anderson County IT as a Helpdesk technician. Academically, Drew holds an Associate in Science degree in Business Management from Tri-County Technical College, completed from 2008 to 2011, and is a graduate of Crescent High School, class of 2004.
