LeDon Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience in the banking industry. Starting in 1999 as a Mortgage Loan Officer at National Bank of Commerce, they went on to hold various roles at different banks, including RBC Bank and First American Bank. In 2011, they became a Vice President of Retail Banking at National Bank of Commerce, then moved on to CenterState Bank as a Senior Vice President in charge of Community Development and Outreach in 2019. LeDon returned to National Bank of Commerce in 2014 and assumed the positions of Senior Vice President and Chief Community Development Officer, as well as Senior Vice President and Director of Community Development & Retail Banking/Commercial Lender. Currently, Jones is the Executive Vice President and Director of Corporate Stewardship at SouthState Bank, a role they began in October 2020.
LeDon Jones completed their education with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Berea College between 1995 and 1999. In 2002, they pursued an MBA with a Finance Concentration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completing it in 2004. Following that, Jones attended the Graduate School of Banking at L.S.U. from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Banking.
