Robert H. Demere Jr.

Robert H. Demere, Jr. is president of Colonial Group, Inc., a petroleum marketing company in Savannah, Georgia and has been employed by Colonial since 1974. As president, he attained valuable experience in raising equity in the capital markets. Demere also worked as a stockbroker with Robinson-Humphrey Company.

A native of Savannah, Demere attended the University of Georgia and has also served in the U.S. Special Forces Reserves and the Georgia Air National Guard.

Demere is a member of the Rotary Club of Savannah and is president of the Independent Fuel Terminals Owners Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors and is a Past President for the Savannah Benevolent Association, is a past chairman of St. Joseph’s / Candler Health System, and is a past member of the Young Presidents Organization.
