Trae Dezern

Trae DeZern is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in corporate security and branch management. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Security at SouthState Bank since August 2016, Trae previously held the position of Branch Manager at both SunTrust from 2007 to 2016 and BANK OF AMERICA from 2005 to 2007, where responsibilities included driving sales performance and leading teams to achieve and exceed targets. Trae's early career includes roles as an Account Manager at BLACKBAUD, INC, recognized for outstanding sales achievements, and as General Manager at The Elliott House Inn, where leadership contributed to revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Trae holds an MBA from The Citadel and a BS in Liberal Arts from the University of South Carolina.
