Sarauniya Shehu

Sarauniya Shehu is a seasoned public affairs professional with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and policy management across various sectors. Currently serving as Cabinet External Affairs Manager at Southwark Council, Sarauniya oversees a multi-disciplinary team and engages senior stakeholders on issues related to transport, environment, and housing. Previously, as Public Affairs Manager at the National Housing Federation, Sarauniya developed strategic initiatives that successfully influenced housing policies at Westminster. Additional roles include Public Affairs Adviser for The Law Society, Project Coordinator at Brooke, Action For Working Horses and Donkeys, and Research Director for the SOAS African Development Forum. Sarauniya holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Bristol and a Master of Laws in Human Rights, Conflict and Justice from SOAS University of London.
