Megan Strand

Megan Strand, ACMHC, is a mental health therapist with extensive experience across various therapeutic settings. Currently employed at Southwest Behavioral Health Center since March 2023, Megan previously worked as a therapist at Kolob Canyon RTC and gained valuable experience as a clinical mental health therapist intern at Havenwood Academy, where individual, group, and family therapy were provided to clients aged 13-17. Additional internships included roles as a mental health counselor intern at Integrated Counseling and Wellness and a school counseling intern at Pelham High School. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Montevallo and dual Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Southern Utah University. Early work experience encompasses roles in administration and teaching assistance, contributing to a well-rounded skill set in mental health and education.
