Joe Lemmons, DO, FACOEP, FACCWS, serves as the Chief Medical Officer for FL-2 DMAT / SMRT-6 since 2000 and holds the position of Medical Director for multiple fire departments, including Captiva Fire Department, Fort Myers Beach Fire Control District, Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District, Lee County Port Authority, City of Fort Myers Fire Department, and Sanibel Fire Department. Since 1996, Joe Lemmons has also acted as the Medical Director for Emergency Services at Lehigh Regional Medical Center and has specialized in wound care at LRMC Wound Care Institute since 2010. Currently, Joe Lemmons is retired as of January 2023.
