Andres Montoya, FMP has extensive experience in the foodservice industry. Andres most recently worked as the Director of Business Development at SFE- Southwest Foodservice Excellence starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they served as the District Manager at Aramark K12 from August 2019 to August 2020, overseeing a territory consisting of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and California. In this role, they managed a portfolio of 4 clients and a managed volume of $12M.

Before Aramark K12, Montoya worked at Compass Group USA, first as the System General Manager for Morrison Community Living from January 2016 to August 2019. In this position, they oversaw multiple dining venues and banquet & catering outlets in Senior Living Communities with a combined managed revenue of $6M annually. Andres then served as the District General Manager for Chartwells School Dining Services from August 2013 to February 2015, responsible for 12 clients and $23.2M in annual revenue. Additionally, Montoya held the role of Resident District Manager for Chartwells School Dining Services from August 2008 to August 2013, where they provided consulting services to a Nutrition Services Department with annual revenues of $12M.

Earlier in their career, Montoya worked as a Culinary Consultant at Casino Food and Beverage Solutions from May 2006 to June 2012, where they created restaurant concepts for remote operations, including cruise ships. Finally, they served as the Community Service Coordinator at Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. from 2001 to 2004.

Andres Montoya, FMP has a bachelor's degree in Art & Design from DePaul University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. In 2008, they earned a certification in Nutrition Fundamentals from Framingham State University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including OSHA Compliance - General Industry from the Arizona Department of Labor in June 2015, Child Nutrition and Other NSLP Certifications from the Arizona Department of Education in June 2009, and the Food Management Professional certification from the National Restaurant Association in January 2009.
