David Best

David Best has extensive experience in construction and engineering, currently serving as Superintendent in both construction projects and operations & maintenance at Southwest Gas Corporation since July 2017. Previous roles at Southwest Gas include Supervisor of New Business Projects and Engineer II - Franchise, where David managed contractors and coordinated with municipalities for pipeline installations. Prior experience includes positions at Kiewit as a Grading and Utilities Field Engineer, and as a Heavy Equipment Operator at D&S Construction. David's background also encompasses engineering roles at ConocoPhillips, including Associate Production Engineer and Production Engineering Intern, preceded by a summer internship at Aka Energy Group. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
