Matt Derr is an experienced regulatory and public affairs professional with a robust background in strategic leadership. Since May 2012, Matt has served as Vice President of Regulation & Public Affairs at Southwest Gas Corporation, focusing on regulatory strategy and stakeholder relationships in Arizona. Prior roles include Director of Regulation & Energy Efficiency at Southwest Gas Corporation, Regulatory Manager in Arizona, and Vice President of Regulation at The Derr Group. Contributions to public service include serving as Deputy Director at the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety and as Policy Advisor at the Arizona Corporation Commission. Matt holds a B.A. in Economics from Arizona State University.
