Peter Lit

Peter Lit, MBA, has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and engineering management. Currently serving as Supervisor of GIS in the Engineering Department at Southwest Gas Corporation since October 2012, Peter manages day-to-day operations and provides strategic leadership. Prior roles include GIS Analyst V at HydroGeoLogic, Inc. for the USEPA, where Peter conducted scientific research on radioactivity levels, and System Analyst for the Department of Defense, managing simulation data. Peter also worked as a GIS Specialist for the Southern Nevada Water Authority, focusing on environmental planning, and served as an Enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau. Peter holds a BA in GIS, Environmental Science, and Natural Resources from the University of Iowa, as well as an MBA from The University of Arizona Global Campus.
