Lee Folsom

Lee Folsom has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. From 1997 to 1999, Folsom worked as the Controller for Steel Building Systems, Inc. From 2000 to 2004, Folsom served as the Assistant Controller for Magic Media, Inc. Folsom then joined Ameris Bank in 2004 as the Valuation Services Manager, where they worked until 2021. During their time at Ameris Bank, Folsom held the position of Certified General Appraiser. In 2005, Folsom also took on the role of Deputy State Umpire in Chief for USA Softball of Georgia. Most recently, Folsom joined Southwest Georgia Farm Credit in 2021, first as a Senior Appraiser and then taking on the role of Chief Appraiser.

Lee Folsom's education history begins with their high school education at Cook High School, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Lee then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Mercer University, attending the Stetson School of Business and Economics from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, during this time, they also attended Mercer University from 1989 to 1993.

In terms of certifications, Lee Folsom obtained several additional qualifications. Lee became a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in August 2017, certified by the State of Georgia. In July 2012, they obtained the Enrolled Agent certification from the Internal Revenue Service. Finally, in April 2004, they became a Notary Public, certified by the State of Georgia.
