Moayad Ismail, MD, FACP has a diverse range of work experiences. Moayad currently holds the position of Associate Medical Director and Team Lead Physician at Southwest Medical Associates since 2023. Before their medical studies, they earned a Certified Dental Technician degree in Dental Laboratory Technology from Pasadena City College from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona between 2004 and 2008.

In addition to their education, Moayad Ismail has obtained various certifications. Moayad is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since September 2019. Moayad also holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, obtained in June 2019 and February 2019, respectively. Moayad has completed the Opioid Prescriber Training Program Part I and Part II from the University at Buffalo's School of Public Health and Health Professions in April 2017. Additionally, they have certifications in HIPAA Privacy and Security Awareness from VMD Health Care Training, LLC in February 2015, Infectious Control and Barrier Precautions from VMD Health Care Training, LLC in September 2014, and HIPAA Awareness for Healthcare Providers from HIPAA Training in July 2014. Moayad also achieved a NIH Scale Score in March 2018.
