Smart has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having worked in various roles such as Account Manager, Production Assistant, Assistant Underwriter, and now Associate Underwriter. Smart's career has taken them through different companies including Swett & Crawford, USG Insurance Services, Inc., and currently Southwest Risk, L.P. Smart holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The University of Texas at Arlington.
