Melissa Cameron

Melissa Cameron has a strong background in public affairs and strategic communication. Melissa started their career in 2001 as a Communications professional at Murray City Corporation, where they were responsible for writing, editing, and design of the city newsletter and press releases.

In 2006, they joined The Exoro Group as an Associate, serving as a project manager for various clients and assisting them in working with local and state governments. Melissa also developed communication and political strategies for clients.

Melissa then moved to Southwest Strategies in 2011, starting as an Account Executive before progressing to Senior Vice President and Partner. In their roles, they directed and managed complex projects involving public outreach, energy, land use planning and development, crisis communications, and media relations. Melissa created strategic communication and outreach campaigns for clients and developed media and marketing strategies.

Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated expertise in public affairs, communication, and project management.

Melissa Cameron earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Melissa later pursued their Master's in Public Administration at the University of Utah from 2003 to 2005, specializing in Public Administration.
