Anthony Gutierrez

Anthony Gutierrez, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Student Development and Health Services at Southwestern Community College District since August 2023. Prior to this role, Anthony held various positions at Cuesta College for 17 years, including Division Chair for Student Success and Support Programs and Faculty Coordinator for Basic Needs and Retention and Student Life and Leadership. Additionally, Anthony worked as the Director of Student Life at Chabot College and as the Assistant Director of Student Life at California State University, East Bay. Anthony holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from UC Santa Barbara, a Master of Arts in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University.
