Iain Paterson

Iain Paterson is an experienced Operations Geologist currently working at Southwestern Energy since January 2014. Prior to this role, Iain served as a Mud Logger at Diversified Well Logging, LLC from January to December 2013, where responsibilities included performing petrographic analysis and producing daily reports on well site conditions. Additionally, Iain was a Field Geologist Trainee II at Nomac Services, LLC from October 2011 to December 2012, focusing on petrographic analysis, picking formation tops, and logging horizontal wells. Earlier experience includes working as a Data Tape Librarian Assistant at FairfieldNodal from August 2004 to October 2011 while completing education. Iain holds a B.S. in Geology with a minor in Geophysics from the University of Houston, earned between 2006 and 2010.
