Shameek Konar

Shameek Konar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and strategic leadership within the energy and commodities sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for The Conservation Fund and Southwestern Energy, and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Shameek also contributes to the Haslam College of Business as a Board of Advisors member. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Pilot Company, Chief Investment Officer at Castleton Commodities International and Mercuria Energy Trading, and Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. Shameek's academic credentials include a PhD in Economics/Finance from Vanderbilt University and a BA (Hons) in Economics from St. Stephen's College.
