Ken Flack is a seasoned transportation planner with over three decades of professional experience. Currently serving as Transportation Planner IV at the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission since July 1992, Flack specializes in various transportation planning fields, including Bicycle and Pedestrian, Freight and Intermodal, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Program Management, covering a ten-county area in southwestern Pennsylvania. Previously, Flack held leadership roles as a Communications Officer and Intelligence Officer in the United States Marine Corps from June 1980 to August 1988, where responsibilities included managing telecommunications and intelligence operations across multiple locations, including California, Okinawa, and Korea. Flack earned a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz School and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy.
