Axel Schlumberger

Axel Schlumberger began their work experience in 1994 as a Sales Manager for Power Cables at Nexans. In 1997, they transitioned to become a Technical Marketing Manager at Southwire Company, and they held this role until 2002. From 2002 to 2008, Schlumberger served as the General Manager of HV Solutions at Southwire. Axel then moved on to become the Vice President of Technical Sales & Support from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they became the Senior Vice President of the Energy Division at Southwire, and they held this role until 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Schlumberger served as the President of Southwire Canada, and from 2016 to 2017, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Power Systems & Solutions and President of Southwire Canada. From 2017 to 2019, Schlumberger worked as the Senior Vice President of Power Systems & Solutions at Southwire, leading the Utility wire, cable, and services business. In 2019, they became the Senior Vice President of R&D and Technology for the entirety of Southwire's wire & cable business.

Axel Schlumberger received a Master's degree in Electric Energy Systems and Power Apparatus from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1987 to 1994.
