Jamie Wainscott

Jamie Wainscott, CSP, currently serves as the Sr. EHS Director for Wire and Cable Operations at Southwire Company, a position held since December 2012. Wainscott's progressive experience at Southwire includes roles as Environmental, Health and Safety Director for Manufacturing, Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for Denton Facilities, Safety and Health Manager for the Building Wire Plant, and Safety Specialist at both the North Campus and Building Wire Plant. Prior to Southwire, Wainscott was a Safety Engineer at Alcoa Howmet from January 2011 to November 2012, where responsibilities included developing safety policies, conducting training, and performing hazard assessments in compliance with OSHA requirements. Wainscott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, attained between 2009 and 2011.
