Jim Ptak is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in digital delivery and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Digital Delivery at Southwire Company since November 2021, Ptak previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at both OBI Partners, Inc. and Intellimetrics Group, Inc. from September 2016 to November 2021. At Ventyx, an ABB Company, Ptak worked as the Senior Director of Product Development from January 2011 to August 2015, overseeing the business analytics platform development and managing a team of up to 23 individuals. As the Executive Vice President of Development and founder of Obvient Strategies from August 2003 to January 2011, Ptak was integral in designing and creating the FocalPoint product suite. Additionally, Ptak co-founded Strategic Product Integration, Inc. in 1997, contributing to various roles, including technical lead and coding. Ptak began the career as a developer at Indus International, Inc. in 1997 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Alabama, earned between 1990 and 1994.
