Murrell William Blackburn

Murrell William Blackburn is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Southwire Company since March 2007, Blackburn previously held roles as Chief IP & Assistant General Counsel and Chief Counsel for Intellectual Property. Prior to Southwire, Blackburn worked at Merchant & Gould P.C. as Legal Counsel for Intellectual Property and as an Associate Attorney. Earlier in the career, Blackburn was a Reliability Team Leader at Kimberly-Clark. Blackburn holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
