Brian A. Sponsler, Ed.D., currently serves as a Partner at Sova, where the focus is on enhancing problem-solving capabilities in higher education and workforce development to promote socioeconomic mobility. Previously, Brian held the role of Vice President of Policy at the Education Commission of the States, providing executive leadership for policy initiatives and managing a substantial budget. Prior to that, Brian was Vice President of Research and Policy for NASPA, overseeing research initiatives and policy guidance. Earlier experience includes roles at the Institute for Higher Education Policy, The George Washington University as a Graduate Research Assistant, and positions in academic and sports information at the University of Puget Sound and Seattle University. Brian earned an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University, an MA from Seattle University, and a BA in Public Administration from the University of Puget Sound.
