Heather Adams

Heather Adams is a passionate advocate for transfer, first-generation, and adult learners, driving transformational change in higher education. They founded Transfer Nation and co-founded My Tribe Media, focusing on improving transfer policies and practices on a global scale. Previously, Heather served as the Director of the Transfer Student Center at UCLA, where they significantly expanded support services for transfer students, leading to over 27,000 student engagements annually. Currently, they lead special initiatives at Sova Solutions and continue to influence systemic reform through collaborative projects, including California Vision 2030. Heather’s extensive experience reflects a commitment to creating flexible, equitable educational systems that empower all learners.
