Verónica Guajardo, PhD, serves as a Partner at Sova, a consultancy firm focused on transformative changes in higher education, since April 2022. Prior to this role, Verónica held positions such as Vice President of Programs at the College Success Foundation, where services were provided to various public school districts to improve college graduation rates for low-income students. Verónica was also a Strategic Advisor at the City of Seattle’s Department of Education & Early Learning, leading initiatives to support youth and education programs. With extensive experience in educational support and strategic development, Verónica has worked in roles at Washington MESA and community colleges, as well as fulfilling teaching, research, and administrative positions at several universities, including the University of Washington and the University of Texas at El Paso. Verónica received a PhD in Information Science from the University of Washington and has contributed to initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
