Florian Leicher

Florian Leicher has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Data Scientist at sovanta AG since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer from June 2019 to July 2021. In this role, they undertook several projects such as introducing instant matching of customer baskets at competitor companies to Amazon's catalog and performing a large-scale data migration. Florian also worked as an Intern ChatOps Development at IBM Cloud for two months in 2019, where they developed a Slack Chatbot integration using Nautral Language Understanding with IBM Watson. Florian also completed their Master's thesis at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik from March 2018 to November 2018. Before that, they gained experience as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IOSB from November 2016 to August 2017. Florian also worked as an IT Business Consultant Intern at Senacor Technologies, where they analyzed and described existing IT processes in a bank. Additionally, they worked as a Tutor for Formal Introduction to Computer Science at the University of Mannheim and as a Qlickview Developer working student at Avantgarde CRM Consulting, both in 2015.

Florian Leicher pursued their education in computer science, with a focus on management information systems. In 2012, they enrolled at the University of Mannheim, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Management Information Systems in 2015. During their undergraduate studies, Florian participated in an exchange program at National Chiao Tung University from 2014 to 2015, where they gained further knowledge in computer science.

Florian's passion for computer science continued, leading him to pursue a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2016 to 2018. This program allowed him to deepen their understanding and expertise in the field.

In addition to their formal education, Florian Leicher obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in August 2018. This certification showcases their dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
