Gustavo Bustamante

Gustavo Bustamante has a diverse work experience. Gustavo started their career in 2010 as a Technician/Designer at Facultad de Ingeniería - UNLZ, where they worked on different projects implementing the Finite Element Method. Gustavo also provided consultancy services and worked on projects such as the analysis of the Unit of Motion of the Alerce train and the Preprocess and meshing for the CAREM project.

In 2012, Gustavo joined Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora as an Assistant Professor, a role they currently hold. This role allows him to contribute to the academic field and share their knowledge and expertise with students.

Between 2015 and 2016, Gustavo worked as a CNC Operator at Homtec, where they gained practical experience with computer numerical control machines.

In 2016, Gustavo became a Managing Partner at Gustavo y Martin Bustamante sh., where they contributed to the management and operations of the company until 2019.

Most recently, from April 2022, Gustavo has been working at Sovanta AG as a Jr. Data Scientist, where they utilize their skills and knowledge in data analysis and problem-solving.

Gustavo Bustamante's education history begins in 2005 when they enrolled in the Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora for a Bachelor's degree in Tecnología/Técnico Industrial. Gustavo completed this degree in 2007. In 2008, Gustavo pursued further education at the same university and obtained an Engineer's degree in Mechanics, which they completed in 2019.

After a gap in formal education, in 2021, Gustavo enrolled in the Instituto Data Science and pursued a Diplomatura in Machine Learning. Gustavo completed this program in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Gustavo also obtained a variety of certifications. In December 2021, they received a certification in "Fundamentos de la programación: Bases de datos" from LinkedIn. In January 2022, they obtained a Python Basic certification from HackerRank and a B2 Upper Intermediate - English test certification from EF Standard English Test (EF SET). Gustavo completed several SAP certifications, including "Enterprise Machine Learning in a Nutshell (open SAP)" in April 2022, "SAP Analytics Cloud – Become an Augmented BI Expert" in May 2022, and "SAP Data Intelligence for Enterprise AI (openSAP)" in April 2022. Gustavo also earned a certification in "Python classes and inheritance" from the University of Michigan | Coursera in June 2022. In July 2022, Gustavo completed the certification for "Introduction to Machine Learning in production" and in August 2022, they completed the certification for "Machine Learning Data Lifecycle in production," both from Coursera. Most recently, in April 2023, Gustavo received a "Discover SAP Business Technology Platform - Record of Achievement" certification from SAP.
