Christian K. has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. In 1996, they began their career as a Software Engineer at LeaseTek, where they designed and implemented the dealer front end for a major Swedish leasing company and deployed Oracle7 and MS SQL Server-based solutions on-site in the US, Europe, and Australia. Christian also spoke at LeaseTek's annual user conference in Pittsburgh and LeaseTek's product launch conference in London, UK. In 2000, they became a Development Manager at MediaSite, where they internationalized and localized the software for the Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and German markets. Christian was also the technical and project lead for MediaSite in the ECHO (European Chronicles Online) research project. In 2001, they became the Software Development Manager at McKesson, where they managed Admin-Rx, McKesson's wireless Point-of-Care solution for bedside medication administration using bar code technology. Christian also lead the team in the design and implementation of worldwide first electronic order transmission/confirmation for intravenous medication administrations using web services in partnership with Alaris Medical Systems. In 2005, they became the Chief Technology Officer at medSage Technologies, which was sold to Philips Electronics in December 2010. Christian built the R&D team from three to twelve and introduced agile software development processes and best practices. In 2013, they became the Chief Technology Officer at NewCare Solutions LLC, where they were responsible for SilentAlert Resident Monitor System comprised of remote sensors communicating with cloud services. Christian also developed a patent-pending SilentAlert Sleep Index algorithm on a statistical model of normal sleep behavior for each monitored resident. In 2015, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Healthcare Financial Resources, LLC, where they streamlined IT operations for internal users and systems and developed a predictive analytics algorithm on the root cause for account triage from hospital to HFRI. In 2017, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Careform, where they successfully lead the integration of the Careform R&D team into the ConnectiveRx IT group and worked with Product Management defining Careform eServices strategy. In 2019, they became the SVP Enterprise Analytics at ConnectiveRx. Currently, they are the Founder & CTO at sova Sage Inc., where they are leveraging novel computer vision, artificial intelligence, and mobile technologies to reinvent how sleep therapy is delivered.

Christian K. received their Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Dortmund, Germany in 1995, having started their studies in 1988.
