Douglas Stout

Douglas Stout has extensive experience in the field of environmental consulting and project management. Douglas has worked for various companies, including Sovereign Consulting Inc, Amec Foster Wheeler, Tetra Tech, Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation, Malcolm Pirnie Inc, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and NUS Corporation.

Throughout their career, Douglas has held roles such as Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, Environmental Engineer, and Group Manager. Their responsibilities have included project management and execution, environmental engineering, environmental science, statistical/geostatistical analysis, staff development, business and client development, and proposal preparation and management.

Douglas has worked on projects in different market sectors, including manufacturing, utilities, petrochemical, ports and harbors, and government. Douglas has also managed due diligence activities associated with facilities both within and outside of the United States.

Their work experience spans from 1982 to the present, with their most recent position being at Sovereign Consulting Inc since 2016. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong track record in successfully managing complex environmental projects and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Douglas Stout has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from the same institution. Douglas also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from County College of Morris. Their high school education was completed at Livingston High School.

In addition to their education, Douglas Stout has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they received certifications in DOT Hazardous Materials 172.704, RCRA Waste Management 40 CFR 262.32 (a) (4), and OSHA HazWOPER 1910.120 from Emilcott.
