Angela Williams

Angela Williams is a board member at Sovereign Housing Association. Angela was previously the Chief People Officer at Crossrail Ltd from May 2020 to March 2021.

At Crossrail, Angela was responsible for the effective engagement with, and transition from, the construction, systems and delivery of the Crossrail programme, to the delivery of the world leading Elizabeth Line metro system as safe, reliable and efficient revenue generating passenger service within Covid-19 constraints.

This included managing multiple workstreams culture, capability, systems and commissioning strategy; governance transition, internal and external communications; management of the diverse supply chain and multiple and complex internal and external stakeholder groups; effective leadership and delivery of the change; development and ongoing management of an agile workforce plan; talent management and development from the programme and into the live railway at each phase of the progarmme; industrial and labour relations, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing.

Angela Williams has a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Reading. Angela also has a 2:1 from the University of Reading. Angela is certified from the Institute of Leadership and Management in FILM and from the CIPD, IOD in FCIPD, FIOD.
