Samuel Kwame Okpattah

Samuel Kwame Okpattah is innovative project finance professional with more than 20 years of experience managing project life cycles in development finance and infrastructure finance. Samuel joined SIG in 2019 and manages credit, risk, and portfolio management. Prior to SIG, Samuel was Director of Asset Management and Senior Investment Officer at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), which is the US Government’s development finance institution, where he spent 11 years managing credit assets and monitoring loan portfolios in emerging markets in Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and South-East Asia. Samuel has experience in project evaluation, development, structuring, financing, restructuring, and loan workouts and recoveries. Samuel has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Information Systems Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a BBA from the Benjamin Banneker Honors College of Prairie A&M University in Texas.
