Scott Allen

Scott Allen is currently a private investor/consultant residing in Washington, DC. He has 40 years of experience in emerging markets and international capital finance working for several banks in NY, Tokyo, and London. His last position in banking was as a Managing Director at JP Morgan in London where he managed several different sales teams for credit and structured products. During 2015-2017, he served in a US Senate-confirmed position as the US Executive Director to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London. He currently serves on several boards and is affiliated with several organizations, including The Advocacy Group, Atlas- Asia Pacific / Top Oil, Blue Star Families, Council for a Livable World / Center for Arms Control, and Non-proliferation, The Defense Language Institute, and Sovereign Infrastructure Group. He has a BA degree in Asian Studies from Sophia University in Tokyo and an MS in International Business from Georgetown University in Washington.
