Chad Hunter

Chad Hunter is an experienced technology and insurance operations executive currently serving as Vice President at Sovereign Insurance since June 2017. Prior to this role, Chad held the position of Director in the Office of the CIO at The Co-operators from September 2016 to May 2017 and served as Director of IT Delivery for Individual Application Services at Sun Life Financial from February 2014 to August 2016. Chad's career began at BlackBerry, where several roles included Senior Manager of the Quality Center of Excellence and Business Process Architecture, as well as Manager of Technology Infrastructure and Global Technical Support Operations between October 2002 and November 2013. Chad holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive Management Consulting from Royal Roads University, completed between 2012 and 2013, and a degree from St. Clair College, obtained from 1997 to 1999.
