Mike Asem

Mike Asem is currently an advisor at Sovereign’s Capital. Prior to that, they were a founding partner at M25, a venture capital investment firm targeting early-stage, tech-enabled startups in the Midwest. With investments in over 100 companies since 2015, M25 is one of the most active investors in the region. Before M25, Mike was a board member, Midwest lead at BLCK VC, a firm formed to connect, engage, empower, and advance black venture investors by providing a focused community built for and by black venture investors. Mike has also been a board member at Civic Eagle and Elate. At Civic Eagle, Mike leveraged innovative technology to help organizations quickly identify, track, and analyze legislation and regulations. At Elate, Mike helped companies power sustainable growth by optimizing business outcomes through data-driven OKRs.

Mike Asem attended Purdue University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations & Rhetorical Advocacy.
