Marcelo Souza

Marcelo Souza is an accomplished sales executive with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Vice President of Sales, GTM – LATAM at Sovos since January 2024, and as an Advisor GTM for Dremio. With a background that includes leadership roles at Databricks as Vice President of Sales–LATAM and Splunk as Country Manager for Brazil, Marcelo has a proven track record in developing go-to-market strategies and building high-performing sales teams. In addition, Marcelo operates a sales mentorship practice through MS Sales Training and Coaching, focusing on mentoring and ontological coaching after a successful career that also included positions at Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and BEA Systems. Marcelo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University.
